Access Information for Te Mahia

Important Information:

During the storm event in August 2022, significant damage occurred on many roads in the
Marlborough Sounds, including the Kenepuru and Te Mahia Roads. This has meant that the roads are closed to the public and will remain so for the foreseeable future.

Do Not Rely on Google Maps for Road Information - as it is incorrect, as the roads are still closed.

Access is now by boat or water taxi, departing from Havelock Marina. 'Pay and Display' parking is available at the Havelock Marina, the cost is $6.00 per day.

Marlborough District Council is currently subsidizing water taxi transport- this means you can get $25 off the price of the watertaxi.

You can make your bookings by
contacting the water taxi companies directly.
